About the role
Combine movement, weather, and habitat data to identify resilient routes and stopovers for Europe’s travelling waterfowl. This 100% remote role is open in the United Kingdom, Ireland, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Spain, and Portugal.
What you would do
- Model seasonal routes and priority stopover locations.
- Combine tracking data with weather and habitat-risk forecasts.
- Facilitate planning sessions with partners across multiple countries.
- Publish clear route briefs for field and policy teams.
What you’ll bring
- Experience in GIS, transport planning, ecology, or spatial analysis.
- Confidence working with imperfect datasets and competing constraints.
- Strong remote collaboration and stakeholder communication.
- Professional English; another European language is welcomed.
