Privacy

MallardJobs has no user account or application database. Saved jobs and career-guide progress stay in your browser, while a submitted application follows the server-side email process described below.

What stays in your browser

  • Saved job identifiers are stored in local storage.
  • Guide checklist progress and work-style worksheet answers are stored in local storage.
  • Search terms, location text, and selected job identifiers can appear in the page URL.
  • Application details and a selected résumé remain in the current page until you consent and submit them; they are not added to local storage.

How applications are delivered

After you give explicit consent and submit, MallardJobs sends your name, email address, location, optional phone number and note, and selected résumé to a Vercel-hosted server function. The server validates the submitted fields and file, then passes them to AgentMail, with the résumé as an email attachment, for delivery to the designated MallardJobs application inbox for the selected role.

This delivery does not mean the application goes directly to the listed employer. MallardJobs does not send applicants a confirmation email or provide application-status tracking.

Storage and retention

MallardJobs does not store application data in an app database and does not create a user account. AgentMail and the receiving mailbox retain the email and application data under their own policies and settings until deletion. Read the AgentMail privacy policy for information about that provider’s processing.

How to clear local data

Use each guide’s clear button, remove saved jobs individually, or clear MallardJobs site data in your browser settings. Clearing browser storage removes locally saved preferences and guide progress.

Service providers and location

Vercel hosts the site and application function and may process routine request information needed to operate them. AgentMail processes the application email for delivery to the receiving mailbox. Application data may be processed in the United States as part of this delivery flow.
