About the role
Monitor the water beneath the webbed feet, tracing changes quickly and helping lake teams keep habitats healthy year-round.
What you would do
- Collect routine water samples across twelve lake and pond sites.
- Run field tests, maintain equipment, and log results accurately.
- Flag emerging issues and support pollution-response investigations.
- Summarise findings for wardens, ecologists, and local partners.
What you’ll bring
- Relevant science qualification or equivalent field experience.
- Careful sample handling and accurate record keeping.
- A full UK driving licence and comfort working near open water.
- Knowledge of freshwater ecology is desirable.
