Responsibilities
  • Own the seasonal breadcrumb strategy across London park ponds.
  • Turn flock behaviour and campaign data into practical recommendations.
  • Partner with conservation teams to keep every activation habitat-safe.
  • Coach two junior strategists and present plans to pond partners.
  • Set and deliver the annual habitat management plan.
  • Lead seasonal species surveys and nesting-site monitoring.
  • Coordinate volunteers, ecologists, and local authority partners.
  • Report clearly on biodiversity gains and conservation risks.
Requirements
  • 5+ years in strategy, growth, or customer engagement.
  • A sharp mind and a love of data (and ducks).
  • Experience with A/B testing and performance metrics.
  • Excellent communicator with a collaborative spirit.
  • A commitment to ethical, habitat-friendly practices.
  • Degree or equivalent experience in ecology or conservation.
  • Strong wetland habitat management and field survey skills.
  • Experience leading teams, contractors, or volunteer groups.
  • Confidence working outside in all sensible weather.
